Cut off a super skinny slice vertically so your potato will sit flat on the cutting board. Cut into ¼” thick discs and then turn the opposite way to cut into ¼” fries.
  • Place sliced potatoes into a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  • Dry potatoes completely before continuing.
  • OVEN METHOD: Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a large rimmed baking tray with unbleached parchment paper for easy clean up.

    AIR FRYER METHOD: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  • Mix cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and set aside.
  • If using honey, whisk it into the oil in a small bowl until well mixed.
  • Drizzle the thoroughly dried potatoes with oil (or oil/honey mixture) and then sprinkle with spices. Mix until fries are evenly coated.
